Serge Ferrari + Anish Kapoor

Françoise Fournier, Serge Ferrari’s Lightweight Architecture market manager reviews cooperation with the artist.

The Serge Ferrari group has cooperated with Anish Kapoor since 2002, when “Marsyas”
was exhibited at London’s Tate Modern Gallery. A relationship that was pursued in New Zeeland in 2009 through the “Dismemberment: Site 1”, also known as “The Sculpture Farm”.
Serge Ferrari composite membrane was again implemented by the artist for “Leviathan”, his most recent work displayed in Paris’ Grand Palais as part of Monumenta 2011 exhibition.
“Serge Ferrari material again asserts its strength, flexibility and lightness qualities. So many advantages resulting from Précontraint technology invented by Serge Ferrari, which confirm our membranes’ status as true construction materials”, says Françoise Fournier, who has been the company’s personal contact with Anish Kapoor since the start of this cooperation.
